In order to build and then service the huge Biltmore estate of the Vanderbilts, the Biltmore Village was developed by the Vanderbilts, resembling an English village.

Hit Biltmore village while visiting the estates. While parking was a real challenge it was really enjoyable walking around and shopping. If you go to Asheville it should be on your list. That being said a shopkeeper warned us about parking in downtown Asheville and...More

When going to Biltmore Village just out front from the Estate you nee to go to the McDonald's to see the baby grand piano and chandeliers. Quite different for a fast food joint.

We went back to the Biltmore Village the day after visiting the Estate. We walked around a little, very charming area. We had a great lunch, walked a little more and left. Worth the time if you have it.

Small village, but a great place to grab lunch or dinner. Nice ice cream parlor. Make sure you go thru the Vanderbilt museum (free).

A very nice place to just walk around. Nice houses. Shops are not really our cup of tea. The church is definitely worth visiting. Easy parking (and free!).

We love strolling through Biltmore Village on visits to Asheville. The Village has some unique one-of-a-kind shops as well as a few chains. There are some good eateries too. Two favorite shops for us are the Morning Glory Gallery and the Southern Highlands Craft Guild....More
