This easy-to-miss bar is hidden away down an unassuming alley but it is definitely worth venturing down the dark stairway to the nano-brewery/pub. Great selection of beers on offer with very friendly and knowledgeable bar staff

Stopped for a beer on a Friday afternoon. You can see the sign from the main street but then have to go down the alley and down into the basement. It's fairly roomy down there but kind of dark. Many Asheville breweries have outdoor areas...More

Odd location but nice bar once you get down the stairs to it, Beers were good but still trying to find their place, I liked it.

We went to six breweries while in Asheville. This one is down an alley and in a basement. They brew small batches down there. Had an NEIPA that was a good beer. Dark and dank but beer was cold.

Looks a little sketchy going to it down an alley and stairs, but it's a nice place. The bartender was very friendly and she suggested a place for lunch the next day (which was great). It is dark down there but the beers where good....More

As others have noted, it’s a cool basement brewery tucked away in downtown Asheville. Last time I was in town, it was charming. This time, a trip down the stairs led to being smacked in the face with an awful mold and mildew smell. Probably...More

We are sorry you had a bad experience. I looked into what was going on that day. The doors to the alley and brewery were both open and the moisture had shut down our conditioning units. It was muggy and too hot in there. We...More

Loved the entrance of this brewery was down a small ally and a bit creepy. Totally out of the norm which is what i like. Once you enter and go down the stairs its a typical basement but with beer and fun games. My husband...More

Seriously LOVE this place! In a basement with darts, fun oldies music, board games, shuffleboard, and tables for 2 or 4 people. Amazing flights, chill bartenders, laid back vibe... perfect experience for a beer enthusiast. We especially loved the blackberry mead and the Soft Opening...More

Enjoyed this place! Live music and bartenders were great. Smaller brewery, but good people and times. Darts available. Many local beers on tap or canned.

Staff was super friendly here but it's a small space. Only had one beer and it was good but very dark environment.
