My husband and I stumbled on this place while in town. We liked that it was off the beaten path and was a bit more unique than some of the other restaurants in town. It is downstairs with a medium sized bar and ample seating,...More

I don't get why this had so many positive reviews. It's like going down into a dungeon, dank and depressing. We went in for an afternoon beer and appetizer. We did not stay and would not order or eat anything here. Creepy!

Although the address is on a main street about a half block from the center of town, you go down a short alleyway type to an entrance and then down the stairs. It is a neat little place with a bar, tables and some games....More

If you're looking for a brewery that's open mid-day, this should be one of your stops. Arrived at noon and we were the only patrons. The bartender was very friendly and engaged in good conversation. He offered his suggestions of beers and even other local...More

This easy-to-miss bar is hidden away down an unassuming alley but it is definitely worth venturing down the dark stairway to the nano-brewery/pub. Great selection of beers on offer with very friendly and knowledgeable bar staff

Stopped for a beer on a Friday afternoon. You can see the sign from the main street but then have to go down the alley and down into the basement. It's fairly roomy down there but kind of dark. Many Asheville breweries have outdoor areas...More

We went to six breweries while in Asheville. This one is down an alley and in a basement. They brew small batches down there. Had an NEIPA that was a good beer. Dark and dank but beer was cold.

Looks a little sketchy going to it down an alley and stairs, but it's a nice place. The bartender was very friendly and she suggested a place for lunch the next day (which was great). It is dark down there but the beers where good....More

As others have noted, it’s a cool basement brewery tucked away in downtown Asheville. Last time I was in town, it was charming. This time, a trip down the stairs led to being smacked in the face with an awful mold and mildew smell. Probably...More

We are sorry you had a bad experience. I looked into what was going on that day. The doors to the alley and brewery were both open and the moisture had shut down our conditioning units. It was muggy and too hot in there. We...More
