Copley Square is one bustling place. There are lots of interesting sights to see. It's a place that has something for everyone regardless of age. The finish line to the Boston Marathon is near along with the marathon seal. Lots of hotels and eating establishments.

The pictures on Tripadvisor looked lovely, but, when we visited in May, the whole square was surrounded with chain link fence making it totally inaccessible & looking like an abandoned lot. Hopefully, this is temporary.

Hard to believe this was built on back fill. Old stone churches and towering glass front buildings surround an area used for many activities. Farmers market was there. Once a year a book festival. Many other uses of this great public space.

A small city park in a great area. Near the best shopping mall, hotels, and a beautiful church on one side. Nice flowers and such.

Honestly I would try to stay close to the city or close to a T station. Unless you have a car, Chelsea, Woburn & Peabody are hard to get to and you will waste too much time travelling. I think your best bet is to go for... More
