The pond is nice but my kids had a lot more fun at the Tadpole Playground right next door. Lots of things to do, you can easily hang out for an hour or so!

We wanted to see the Frog Pond and were able to see it even though it had been closed. It was larger than we thought and plan to come during the summer months in the future.

This is a cute pond, and nice place to unwind and people watch. As part of Boston Common, it's part of history as well.

When we walked through the Boston Garden we noticed the Frog Pond situated in the park. Since we were there in March and the weather was cold, there were several people having a good time ice skating. I would like to see it when the...More

Last year the skating season opened on 14th November 2017 so that would be a yes. They have their own website with opening times. Great city to visit any time of year. Hope you enjoy your trip

There is a bathroom steps from the water! There is a building that "houses" the lifeguards and their equipment and the bathrooms are in that. Extremely close.
