The ICA offers interesting and edgy exhibitions. It’s permanent collection is a mixed bag, and most of it is not on display because of the curious design choices which resulted in the Art only being displayed on a single floor of the building.

Not my favorite museum, but they have some really cool interactives right now with Choreographic Objects. Great opportunity to touch and be a part of art!

The gallery is not large however in summer the ticket includes a water taxi ride to the watershed gallery! We had a great time especially being out on the river. The watershed was a wonderful space filled with colour and movement. Tickets were $8 each...More

There were multiple exhibitions going on when we visited. The museum is located in a beautiful building located on the bay. Really great visit for the whole family.

Stopped by during recent visit beautiful location. Small amount of exhibits were open. best part of visit was boat ride to the watershed..... nice area , pack a lunch and stay in the park for a bit the boat runs every half hour

Visited during an event which included a live band, performance art, a bar (pay, not free) and of course, art! It was incredibly well attended and the crowd were all nice folks. Great gift shop, too. Interesting elevator in a glass enclosure.

As Mark P answered: it is a nice walk of less than a mile. Take the Harbor Walk and enjoy the view.

Sorry,we took the train.There is lots of construction in the area. Safety is relative. As always be aware of your surrounding. Lots of locals, students, conventions and tourists.
