This was the Boston Night tour Haunted trolley. I was a little bit disappointed. Tour guide did a great job with the storytelling and keep me interested for a while. The problem was rude, drunk people on the tour ruining everything for everybody else that wanted to enjoy the tour. The other thing was that on the walking part of... More

Our tour guide was really amazing and really knew his stuff. The tour not only entertained us with ghost stories, but it also gave us a good historical overview of Boston. Our guide was a ghost hunter and researched all the ghost stories throughout Boston for the tour. Would recommend!

I am so glad we took our family on the Boston Night Tour! Our Guide Kaitlyn was great! She had excellent energy and a wonderful presence. The stories were interesting and compelling, if not really scary (which was fine since we had children in our group). Tim was also great! He answered my questions via Facebook Messenger promptly and thoroughly.... More

I'm so glad my family and I took this tour. Katelyn was our tour guide and she was GREAT! She had excellent energy and her delivery was perfect for this type of tour. Katelyn took us to some places that we may not have visited and told us stories that we pretty cool to Boston's history.

This tour was great! Katelyn was a great storyteller. Just to compare, I took similar tours (different owners) in New Haven, CT and Baltimore, MD. This was my third and I prepared myself to be bored. On the contrary it was fantastic. We learned about history in Boston and a few compelling ghost stories. I would recommend this tour to... More

I just wanted to say that whoever gave the tour on 10/4/14 at 8PM did a wonderful job. My wife and I have been on many similar tours across the country and this by far was one of the best if not the best. I just wanted to say thank you to the tour guide and I apologize I cannot... More

I have been coming to Boston on and off my whole adult life but haven't really done the tourist thing. Two friends joined me on this trip who had never never to Boston so we did it right!! The guide (who's name I never caught!) was very knowledgable about the city and had fantastic stories to share. This is really... More

I'm a Boston resident, and I've wanted to take a ghost tour for a long time (I've taken ones in England and New Orleans, and they are good fun). In reading the descriptions of the various ghost tours in Boston, I was instantly drawn to the Night Tour for several reasons: one, the leader Andrew is a skeptic, and takes... More

Great tour. Great tour guide. The tour is reasonably priced and blends history and authentic ghost stories very well. It is not cheesy at all. We loved it.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
