Lovely little shops, boutiques and restaurants. I went to a great bakery that had a bunch of wonderful fresh baked goods. We stayed at the enVision Hotel and our walk from there was about 20 minutes. I wish we had spent more time there.

Definitely worth a visit, from marvelous cafes and ice cream shop, to funky stores ( don't miss George's Shoes!). The lovely residential areas and gorgeous Jamaica Pond park make for a wonderful way to while away a day.

Have just spent a week in Jamaica Plain, we enjoyed the location, never felt unsafe, less than a 10 minute walk from the house to the T on Green Street, into central Boston in 20 minutes. Very handy for Doyles & The Samuel Adams Brewery...More

Jamaica Plain
This Boston neighborhood feels like a distinct
community unique and separate from the bustle of other
areas. Beautiful Victorian homes, restaurants with an
emphasis on being eco-friendly and providing local and
organic food, and a large Hispanic community. Visit
Centre and South streets for restaurants, cafes, and
little shops. The Arnold Arboretum is a beautiful,
large green space well worth a visit if you venture to
