Arriving 3 hours before the Friday afternoon concert we parked just across the street at the Westland Avenue Garage ($25@10hrs) and took the T-Line, one stop to Prudential Tower for early dinner. It was cold&rainy but we had pre-purchased our tickets missing last year’s presentation...More

Prior to the actual concert, Derek Bermel discussed his composition and philosophy. This added so much depth to understanding the performance! The matinee performance was amazing - Bermel, Prokofiev, and Strauss with guest violinist Leonidas Kavakos. The conductor guided a flawless performance while seeming to...More

The BSO is simply a world class institution. I have never been to a concert at the BSO which did not have a profound effect on me. That said, it is very unfortunate that such a cultural experience is marred by the shoddiness of its...More

Beethoven never disappoints, and seeing his work performed by a world-class orchestra in this temple to Beethoven (his is the only name inscribed above the stage) is something that no one should miss. The visiting piano soloist was sublime and the maestro majestic. Looking at...More

What a great experience with the combination of live music and the audience reactions to the movie! It brought a fresh light to watching Amadeus. I would highly recommend this performance, what a great experience.

When you plan to visit Boston, I really recommend you to book a concert ticket of Boston Symphony Orchestra (BSO). This historical orchestra makes consistent and plentiful music. Boston Symphony Hall, the concert hall of BSO, is located in middle of Boston and easy to...More

Attended an interesting performance: the movie Jaws was playing on the wide screen while the orchestra provided the background music. Beautiful hall. Great orchestra. Attended the performance with 25 seniors as part of a Road Scholar program in Boston. One major disappointment: there were plenty...More

This was my first time here and I hope to return soon. The orchestra was absolutely amazing. The group "Arrival from Sweden" was there with them and the music of ABBA was excellent. What a super Mother's Day treat I had. You must get here.

The Curse of the Bambino may have ended years ago, but
loyal Red Sox fans will continue to infiltrate this

I'm not aware of tables at the Boston symphony but I do think a balcony seat would be great.
