Great tour! Trevor was our guide who was very funny and passionate about his job. You get three tastings at the end of the tour along with a free Sam Adams tasting glass. We took the free trolley to Doyle's bar where they serve Sam...More

The tour was the best and most informative I have ever been to. Our guide was terrific and had a great sense of humor. She kept our interest peaked throughout the tour. The tasting was amazing as we each poured our own samples from a...More

We had a blast. It’s a free tour with free beer samples! How can you not have a good time. Our tour guide Cate was great! Be sure to take the Trolley over to Doyle’s for a bit to eat.

This is a must-do if you're ever in Boston. They give free tours (by donation) but 'sell' out quickly, so go early! I don't even like beer and I've done this tour dozens of times whenever I have out of town friends visiting. Everyone loves...More

So yeah, FREE BEER! More than free beer. The tour is cool, interactive and our guide was pretty funny. Dry wit with some good beer, doesn't get much better. After taking us through the brewing process, we ended up in a tasting room. We were...More

Let's face it, if you've done one brewery tour, you've done them all. Not much different about the brewing process. That's why you should pony up a little cash for a tour of the Sam Adams cellar room, where their barrel-aging process takes place. High-octane...More

We visited the Sam Adams brewery on a rainy Memorial Day 2017 with my wife, sister, and brother-in-law. Getting There: Located at 30 Germania Street in Jamaica Plain, it's easy to take the Orange Line to Stony Brook and walking to the brewery. They had...More

Brodie will inform you about the history of the brewery and brewing in an informative, witty manner. This takes 30 mins and is worth it. The next hour is in the tasting room and you have 3 generous samples. We had the obligatory Samuel Adams...More

This Boston neighborhood feels like a distinct
community unique and separate from the bustle of other
areas. Beautiful Victorian homes, restaurants with an
emphasis on being eco-friendly and providing local and
organic food, and a large Hispanic community. Visit
Centre and South streets for restaurants, cafes, and
little shops. The Arnold Arboretum is a beautiful,
large green space well worth a visit if you venture to

The easy choice is the Orange Line train to Stony Brook. From the stop it is a three minute walk to the brewery and the neighborhood is interesting to see. Also, if you go to Doyle's Pub after the tour use the Green Street... More
