My dad served on the DD220 which was a very similar vessel. It was most interesting to see how he lived for the three years on such a small area. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and patient with all my many questions

The USS Cassin Young is in the Charlestown Naval Shipyard and was an active ship during World War II. It has been preserved and docked as a monument to the brave young sailors who served on this ship. It is well preserved and the tour...More

What an authentic way to experience being on a Navy ship. The shipmates were very informative and you really got a feel for what it was like to live and work on board the Cassin.
