I was amazed and inspired during my visit to THE Balboa Park. After 20-day on shore, we decided to spent half day at the park without knowing what to expect. Wow! It's huge and a great place to enjoy the stunning Spanish architecture, ideal for...More

A large park around 1,400 acres with lots to see and do, lots of historical buildings, museums, beautiful gardens and green spaces. Love the Spanish architecture really suits the surrounds. A beautiful place to take your family.

This is a city park apparently built a long time ago for a special exhibition and the city decided to keep the buildings and maintain/add to them. There are several museums, special exhibits and activities, a live theater, and an artisan area where you can...More

Pretty area with lots of museums. We were there for the park but got disappointed. Apart from going among the museums the nature walk was limited to paying 10 $ p.p. for entering through the Japanese garden.
