We had a lovely walk along the grounds and then up across the bridge during featured festival. I'd like to return when it's less crowded as well.

A huge beautifully landscaped grounds of culture. There are theaters, ballet, many museums of all types, gardens of all types, restaurant, gym, carousel and tours. You could spend a day there and not see every thing. We especially liked The Museum of Man.

It was a very long walk from County Center/Little Italy Blue Line Trolley Station all the way to the Balboa Park area. It was a very-very most challenging experience to save lots of money.
