Being from the east coast (Connecticut) I look forward to going to a Drive-In when available. South Bay Drive is great because it has 3 screens and the latest movies to chose from. It's south of San Diego near the mexican border but it's always draws a good crowd! Look forward to coming back to it when I come back... More

The old De Anza Drive in! The three screen Drive in theater is always pulling a crowd. and the local swap meet seems to do well.

While on our US road trip, we couldn't resist going to a drive in. Was great fun and great value - $9 each for two movies. Screens were large and bright. A definite must do if you're in San Diego for a nice relaxing evening.

So much fun! This was a great way to see a new release double feature for only $8! I saw people say it was really busy but I went on a friday night and had no problems. Just remember you need a radio to listen (not an issue if you play off your car but if you want to sit... More

So we went to this place in San Diego. Three different outdoor movie screen. It was so awesome. It only cost us $32 for 4 people to watch two movies. How To Train Your Dragon 2 and Maleficent! It was awesome!

We had never been to a drive-in and this was a fun experience. First, get there at least 30 minutes before start time on the weekends because it gets crowded and the wait can be a bit long. Second, the concession prices are actually really reasonable and the popcorn wasn't bad. The screen can appear a bit small, but having... More

This was my first visit to a drive in and I loved it. This place is relaxed, has 3 screens and 2 different films each nite at each screen. The price is amazing at $14 for 2 adults, considering the films are all current ones. The car parks are laid out well, with dips and humps that you can position... More

It seems that the drive-in is just a memory in most places nowadays so having had the opportunity to visit South Bay a while back brought back lots of memories (not from there but of the drive-in experience as a whole). It may be worth noting that our visit was in 2011, not 2013 as indicated, in case this matters... More

SoCal is one of the few places left where a driv-In can still flourish- I'd better go more often, so they will keep playing those groovy double features!
