The Coronado Bridge can be seen from so many views around San Diego. It really is spectacular. It was quite foggy and hazy many days we saw it, but had a great view while we were out whale watching in the bay. Traffic was not...More

This is a beautiful bridge. I have been on it, under it, alongside it and at a distance from it. It's an iconic part of the gorgeous cityscape of San Diego. I got to meet the man who designed it, Robert Mosher, before he passed...More

A familiar image from nightmares, this bridge will make you wish you never made the decision to go to Coronado Beach via this road. There are no breakdown shoulders, nor pedestrian paths, so you are literally at the mercy of your surrounding motorists, and the...More

The entire island of Coronado is really a sight to see. While the gas surges in almost 2 dollars more than what the gas prices are on "mainland" I would still recommend bringing your family to one of the prettiest beaches around. The Coronado Hotel...More

It's a bridge. What do you want me to say about it? There are great views of the bay from atop. It is free.

We drove over this bridge plenty when we stayed on Coronado Island this past weekend. It is no Golden Gate but iconic for San Diego. Cool to see the large naval ships go under it. But a very busy bridge to drive.

As part of the charm of San Diego this is something that you can't miss as its visible from anywhere on the coast. I've spent much of my adult life crossing the Severn bridge back in wales so as far as bridges go, that's also...More

Kinda creepy that they have suicide hotline numbers all over the bridge, even though there's no pedestrian path -- or even a shoulder. To off yourself, you'd have to stop traffic and then make a run for it to make it to the edge alive,...More

Beautiful to look at from afar. But also a great connection of the mainland to Coronado Island and return. Of course you could also take the ferry across the bay.

probably by taxi ... I am sure that bus goes that direction, but could be a long ride especially if you have baggage
