I did enjoy this place it is small, however, there was some cars here and bikes worth getting photos of. There were even some for the future

While not the largest collection as the former Harrah's private collection in Sparks, Nevada which one had 1300 cars, 1100 on display or even that at the Henry Ford collection in Dearborn, Michigan, this has an eclectic array of interesting vehicles, some quite unique such as the 1947 Cadillac that still holds the world record for non stop cross country... This place is basically an indoor car show. A bunch of cars, mainly from movies/TV; Knight Rider, Starsky and Hutch, Scoobie Doo, etc... and a few rare, antique and muscle cars. A big section of motorcyles which is quite interesting. Don't expect anything spectacular but if you like cars/motorcycles its a good stop for an hour or two.

Loved this place, some great classic cars, friendly staff and good value for money. The current theme is cars from TV and Movies which is a really nice touch.

Compared to Reno or Sacramento, the number of cars on display at San Diego Museum's are pretty modest. The cars on display change now and then and appear to be grouped thematically. Check to see what's on display before you buy your ticket.

My son wanted to go to this so we went; I wasn't expecting much. But I was surprised as it did capture my attention. It is a small collection of cars and motorcycles that has some regular turn over so you will probably see different displays each time you go. When we went about a third of the area was... More

I visited this little museum when I was in San Diego on business. Admission is $9 or you can get a discount of $1 if you show a flyer from your hotel. There is a wonderful collection of cars from the early 1900's to the late 1980's. The museum also has a collection of early and late model motorcycles in... More

This was my favorite, this car had it all! What an amazing idea and journey Louis Mattar had. One cousin loved the library of everything automotive, including obscure repair manuals for many classic cars. Another cousin spent an hour looking at the old hot rods - we all found favorites and had a fun time here.

I am not really interested in cars or vehicles, but surprisingly, I enjoyed this place because of the 1950s camping car display. While the shiny collection was nice, the camping car was fascinating, including the video of the man who took 7 years and $75K to build it. Video shows how he changed tires while the car was still moving,... More

Since we were in Balboa Park, we thought we would stop in a see what they had to offer for vintage and museum-trending cars. The cost was $9 per person and it was probably $8 too much. The showroom is very small with little to offer. Probably the best part of the museum was the Fabulous $75,000 Car Exhibit. There... More
