Wow, what a find! This truly is an unbelievable tennis area. We did the drop in fee ($10.00 p.p. for the entire day/$8.00 for seniors). We were immediately given a court to play singles on and then went to the challenge court (there were 2 challenge courts for intermediate levels and one for 4.5 level) and were able to start... So much to do at Morley Field. You can picnic, have large outdoor parties, take your dog for a run, play Frisbee golf, sunbathe, people watch, there's a pool, a velodrome, and hiking trails nearby.

This is a tennis player's dream club. 25 professional quality hard courts with top notch lighting, including a stadium court that probably seats 500 fans. All for around $300 a year. That includes being able to reserve courts a week in advance. oleen, the manager of the club has done tremendous things to improve the overall tennis experience for both... More

Morley Field has everything.... from tons of open spaces and picnic spots, tennis courts, pool, dog park, velodrome, golf courses, bike trails, lawn bowling, and bocce courts, handball and one of the oldest disc golf courses in the US. And true gem in the middle of San Diego.

Located at Texas and Upas Streets in the northeast corner of Balboa Park, this complex offers a vast array of sporting opportunities from tennis, swimming and archery to disc golf, bocci ball and velodrome cycling. We took a group of teens to the Morley field disc golf course this week, and while the course is nice enough, it has some rather unpleasant issues that diminish its comfort, such as people smoking joints openly on the course and discarded condoms hanging in the bushes. If they cleaned it up it could be pretty nice.

This course is supposedly one of the most played courses in the world, I wouldn't doubt it. There are always a ton of people whenever I visit (mid-morning/early afternoon) but things tend to move rather quickly. Every Monday they change where the holes are located so make things a bit more challenging. It will take on average 2-3 hours to... More

So, I've driven across the country a few times, making sure to disc golf as much as possible. This is the ONLY place out of possibly 30 ranges where I've paid to play! It's pretty much an insult to the disc golf community in my mind. Most simply put up a list for volunteers, or if there are local leagues,... More

Nice disc golf course. $3/day. 19 Holes with a pro shop and concessions stand. Good crowd. Usually a wait between holes.
