The first day, we had the kids take surf lessons. One was a natural, the other, not so much. Renee was patient and competent, and the kids learned a ton the first day. The price in the off season was so reasonable that we went back the next day and rented boards. They were relaxed and easy going, and offered... More

Oh man, what could be better than a surf lesson, on a beautiful beach, with a professional surfer? My kids ages 14, 12 and 7 all surfed, and did fairly well. The instruction was great. Will do this again.

We vacation in Ormond regularly and visit Surfari every time. The instructors are patient and have gotten us all up on boards from day one.

My son and I reserved paddle board lessons for two. The guy (never got his name) who met us at Halifax basically got on the board, showed us how to go from knees to standing, asked if we had questions, then left. We had never been on the river. Never paddle boarded. He was there maybe ten minutes, said that... More

Due to poor weather, we had to cancel the day before -- the cancellation was dealt with smoothly by the owner/manager. We'll definitely rebook with Surfari the next time we are in San Diego.

We were in town for spring break and decided to try the SUP (Stand Up Paddleboard). We were checking prices and so many of the places were not only extremely high to rent, but the management stunk! We went to Surfari and the owner was AMAZING to work with and remembered us when we came back a couple days later... More

Was my first time, very good coaching and the owner is fantastic! Recommend if you're thinking of taking a lesson. Just wish I would have had more energy and not been suffering from jet lag, better take your session in the morning tho!

I didn't have the best circumstances to learn how to surf (low tide, strong wind and waves coming from all directions), but my instructor was very good! He explained everything on the beach patiently and made me feel really comfortable. At the end of the surf lesson I already rode my first waves! After the lesson the first rent of... More

Absolutely looooooved these guys! Surfing was one of the biggest highlights of our girls' bachelorette weekend. Our group was riding waves in no time, and the next day, we were back for rentals. Ask for Adam! He's great. I am HOOKED on surfing and wishing Colorado had waves.
