It's a lighthouse, I love lighthouses so this was an awesome visit for me and my family. I highly recommend checking it out, some amazing views here and seeing this old beacon of the Sea is worth the time and effort.

Part of Point Loma and gives one the way navigation was managed many years ago. Get ready to walk up as parking is not too close.

This is such a cool thing to do as an adult but the kids loved it too. Learn about the history of this lighthouse in San Diego. The views are amazing and the history of this lighthouse is priceless.

I visited this location about 11am. It wasn't as crowded. Wear comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. You will have to walk up the hill from the Cabrillo visitor center. If you go inside the house, you can walk up the steps and see the living...More

You pay a fee to get into the Carrillo National Monument Park. I think it was like $10. But once you're past the gate then everything else is free. There is no additional fee to go into the lighthouse, or the visitor center... More
