Last few years a lot of construction and business turnover. Change is happening. Still great Italian food and deli (Mona Lisa). Buildings with character & history. Some micro breweries have moved into the area (Bolt & Ballast Pointe) which is good. However a slow, steady transformation has been taking place. Love the fact that they honor John Basillone with a... More

Little Italy was so fun to visit during the holidays. The lights were fun and the poinsettia tree was beautiful. It's all lit up with many great restaurants.

Visited a few restaurants and bars in the village. The Food and cocktails were very good everywhere we went. Friendly people and very dog freindly neighborhood. We loved sitting outside at the restaurants to people watch. Still have 4 days left of our Vacation, so I'm sure we will be back there again before we leave

The street is beautiful to wonder down at night. The restaurants all come alive. We ate at one we randomly selected and it was divine. Most places were quiet busy. Defiantly at must do while in San Diego

Little Italy is the home for Italian food, cloth and shops. This street in San Diego is very homelike place unlike many other cities of America.

Had 2 meals here at Sorrento and Ironside. Charming area with parking being a challenge. If you eat at Sorrento SHARE the plates. The pizza was excellent as was everything else we ordered.

I love taking a stroll on India Street either before or after eating at one of the many, delicious restaurants. The sidewalks are always lively.
