Nice tour. Good guide. Interesting facts about building it. Enjoyed the hall of fame portion at the end.

Loved everything about Petco Park. It is right downtown so within walking distance to many hotels, bars, and restaurants. You can also take the ferry over from Coronado and be very close as well. So a great layout and the perfect place for a ball...More

Petco park is awesome! Prior to arriving to the park there are a lot of unique restaurants and of course the Gas Lamp Quarter. The local Micro brews are great before the game. The atmosphere at Petco is really fun, Not a bad seat to...More

Is it safe to walk to Petco Park (and back to my hotel) for an evening game? I'll be staying at the Holiday Inn Express Downtown which doesn't look too far from Petco. Thanks!

We have done this option before from the same hotel and I would say walking to the game in the early evening is OK but after the game I would walk out to the Gaslamp area and get a cab. The walk to the park is all downhill... More
Hi. Coming from New Zealand and want to take my kids to a game. I see that they have lots of kid events on the Sunday but do they normally have good crowds on those days? Or are Fridays and Saturdays normally the busiest? (they are playing the Marlins when we are there). Thanks

Sunday would be fine. It's never too crowded. I prefer afternoon games. Have a wonderful time in San Diego.
Hi, will there be any games on at the beginning of November? Thanks in advance 😊

The season may be over but they still offer tours of the ballpark twice a day. Once at 10:30 and again in the afternoon. I believe it's $15 per person.
