Since we were too early for the whale watching, we decided to try the Hornblower Harbor Tour for 2 hours. This trip covers the whole harbor. The boat was huge. Plenty of seating indoor and out. We sat up on the bow and had fantastic views. The tour information was interesting about the navy vessels, sea lions, and sights.

My husband was in Navy and we only wanted to be on water 1 hour, so you can choose North Bay for Island and nature more, or South bay for the Coronado Bridge and the Navel ships in port. We waited due rain in morning and choose the early afternoon ride for the weather had said it be clear, and... More

My husband, brother in law, best friend, and I all went on the sights and sips cruise through hornblower and had a great time! It was a beautiful cruise and nice to have appetizers and drinks for the ride! Beautiful sights and really cool ships to see! The sunset was really nice as well as seeing the city at night... More

We took the 2 hour tour, saw the north and south parts of the bay. Great narration by the captain. Sat on the deck drinking some great bloody marys. So interesting to see all the Navy ships. Go early enough to park in the lot next to the US Midway $10 for all day parking.

What a pleasant way to spend an afternoon. Great little cruise with very affordable adult beverages. Staff was great and very informative.

There were roughly 60 of us on a dinner cruise. We were definitely not expecting much of anything except a mediocre dinner and a lot of people. As it turned out, dinner was excellent as was the service. They seated our group away from the dance floor and close to the bar so it was perfect to be away from... More

Both the North Bay and South Bay cruises were taken on the same day and added much to the overall "San Diego experience". The best part was having a well informed narrator who explained what we were seeing as we passed by the multitude of Navy vessels, significant buildings, and historic structures. Part of what made the trips so enjoyable... More

The cruise was smooth and the sights pretty but the sun set before we really started cruising. I was hoping to be more in the water to get a nice picture. The appetizers are abundant but not really that great. I went on a Groupon so I saved a few dollars but still expected more. The staff was friendly. Not... More

Brought out of town visitors on the 2 hour harbor cruise. The Hornblower staff was friendly, the boat was clean, and the live narration was superb. In years past we had taken the "other" harbor cruise; we found the Hornblower to be far superior and definitely worth the small amount of extra money. We also loved that the exterior seating...
