Worth the drive up with a stop at the light house. The cemetery is jaw dropping and well maintained, humbling to say the least.

This historic cemetery reminds me of the cemetery in Vicksburg only this is on a rocky point along the coast instead of gently rolling hills.

Fort Rosecrans Cemetery, on Cabrillo Memorial Drive, is truly a amazing spot to pay a final tribute to America's veterans who served this country so bravely.

Stopped by on our way to the old lighthouse. Well worth it. Awe inspiring, very humbling. View to downtown San Diego breathtaking. Make a stop and be thankful for the U.S. Arm Services

The National Cemetery at Fort Rosecrans is simply extraordinary. The ocean and the Bay are visible on either side, so the setting itself is magnificent. Everything is meticulously cared for. It is a place all should visit.
