We saw the Gladys Knight performance at The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park on the Embarcadero last evening. What an incredible venue with excellent acoustics, sound system, lighting and overall ambiance. We've been season ticket holders at the Embarcadero for years and was looking forward to this new venue. What a wonderful addition to the San Diego community. Thanks to all the donors and workers who made this possible for us to enjoy. We look forward to the remaining performances for the season. And, the food selection is so much better in the Marina Section - and the restroom facilities are a vast improvement. Again, what an incredible experience in this venue.

We recently attended performances that included Beethoven’s 5th and 6th Symphonies. As the music swept over the orchestra, one could observe their bliss in creating this music, a bliss shared by their audience.

Bayside Summer nights was fabulous "again" for the The Broadway Hits of Rodgers, Hammerstein & Hart with fireworks afterward.

We arrived early and enjoyed purchasing the famous "tri-tip" provided by Seaside Market in Cardiff. Pix don't do it justice, and tha "sandwich was enormous, but we opted for this adaptation.

The musical and vocal performance of The Broadway Hits of Rodgers, Hammerstein & Hart was excellent as usual and picturesque under the stars on the San Diego Bay.

We parked in Old Town and took the trolly from to & from the convention center and it was easy. And the best news is that a new permanent venue will be erected for the 2020 season. It's a must-do in Summer.

Staff and ushers are committed to ensuring that everyone has the best possible experience. ADA accommodations are made, food and beverages are available, and the performing artists are amazing. People can choose from music styles that vary from event to event.

San Diego Symphony finds its' "home" in a beautiful venue with good acoustics and comfortable seating. Prices are reasonable and it is an accessible walk or "Uber" ride from the Convention Center. Also in the building in a Marriott located on a higher floor which is a convenient spot for a pre or post symphony drink/snack/dinner. It was a very enjoyable classical program and we thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon.

The symphony by the water is an unbelievable venue. You can go casual “high class” and get tables with wait service or a blanket and bring your own food and wine. Saw the symphony play the music to Harry Potter while playing the movie which was so good you often forgot it wasn’t the soundtrack. Great for adults and families.easy in and out, especially if your staying in the city.
