My family and I recently were in San Diego and visited Boomers. They have excellent go karts and mini golf. My son also really enjoyed the baseball batting cages. This is a great place to go for families with kids of all ages!

This is a fun place for the kids but VERY EXPENSIVE. If you have a large family bring a lot of cash or credit card. Friendly staff all through the place.

I have no issues with the facility... it is as you would expect. But I DO have an issue with their switch to a Play Card system. You now have to pay for the card for $1.00 and put money on it. 50 pts for $5 effectively (or $0.10 per point), which means that a 15-point video game costs $1.50.... More

My family came here on a vacation. While all of us liked the golfing and my teenage boys liked the batting cages, it was hard for my wife to navigate the mini golf course as there were many stairs. I told a staff member of this upon leaving and she said, we'll the property is 43 years old so....Due to... More

We had a ball playing miniature golf with our 2 13 year old grandkids. We purchased what they call a "boost" for an extra $20 so we had enough money for go-carts. After that, the kids played arcade games. As other reviewers said, the place is greatly in need of updating, but we had a good time and would go... More

This is are first time at boomers on Clairemont Mesa Blvd and Im really disappointed. There were not enough stuff to operate the rides, every ride we went to we had to find someone and ask when is the ride going to open, shortly after asking someone would come over and start the ride for 30 seconds. The staff are... More

There are lots of things to do: eat and play. The Go Karts are the BEST! We couldn't get enough of that! I like bumper boats, but the ones here are pretty lame. It wasn't just me: everybody that got off said the same thing. We tried it another time we were there--same thing. Slow moving and hard to control.... More

Kids had a blast here. Though not the cleanest (it is an arcade inside though) and pretty crowded on a Sunday, miniature golf was fun (minus the random kids just running around and getting in front of you to then run to a completely different hole....which is why I gave this location a 4 and not a 5. They need... More

After I had already purchased 4 hour passes to Boomer's I was worried because of the negative reviews. The place was actually pretty clean and all the employees were friendly. I have 2 boys, ages 5 and 12, and they both enjoyed the golf (2 courses), go-carts, etc. Although some of the rides weren't open until an hour after getting... More
