This is an attractive rail station in downtown San Diego and is a welcome contrast from all the high rise modern buildings surrounding it. It is not that big and it is not busy. Friendly typical rail cafe kiosk. Attractive tiles on the walls showing...More

Women’s toilets are beyond filthy and dilapidated. Absolutely disgusting and unusable. Sinks rusted and broken and dirty, toilets disgraceful, floors filthy. No maintenance for decades by the looks of it, truly the worst I have seen. Don’t take children in there, they will catch something....More

The Santa Fe Depot in downtown San Diego is a beautiful gem in Center City. Built in 1915 to accommodate passengers to the Panama-California Expo, the station has withstood the sprawl of downtown to remain a centerpiece of an ever-growing area of San Diego. Whether...More

This railroad station is really an old facility, but truly shows what they were like years ago. They are always doing some type of work updating this location.

So awesome to be back in downtown San Diego, this beautiful city by the bay and catch the surf liner train for points north. I will return again and again.

The facilities here are actually very beautiful and restored that should rate 4 stars; however, the men's room is atrocious and totally brings the overall score down. The men's room is actually kind of scary! The good news is that my wife noted the lady's...More

Even if you're not planning on taking Amtrak anywhere, it's well worth a stop in here to check out the incredible architecture. Building is not real large, but the beautiful domed ceiling is interesting, as are the tiles on the walls. Not a lot going...More

This is a busy place. It reminds me a lot of Grand Central in New York City, but on the west coast. The lines aren't too bad and they can pretty much take you where ever you need to go. Very spacious and the attendants...More
