just a lovely park with pier that you can relax and enjoy the surroundings. The design of the park is cool, and it's very pretty there.

What a great place to watch a rocket launch. Free car parking. We were even lucky enough to watch dolphins and manatees in the river too.

This small park is the best place to watch a rocket launch. Beautiful view of the Indian River Lagoon. It is small park with no amenities, no playground. It does have a bathroom. This park is a commemorative park with lots of astronaut memorabilia.

I can see the potential of this park if there is a launch to watch, otherwise there is nothing really of interest. Only a short walk from the "downtown" area.

People do walk through the park with their dogs, and they are expected to pick up after their pets. During launches there tend to be alot of dogs, and they really need to be on leashes.

Space view should be fine. You'll encounter some traffic along US 1 but once you get near downtown it should diminish greatly. After the launch take Garden Street. Head West straight out to 95 and then head S to the 405 Exit... More

The online article may be referring to the closing of the public bathrooms at night. This park has no fencing or gates and so I don't see how it could be closed nightly, except for the bathrooms. It has a lovely dock going... More
