We stayed at the Thunderbird lodge and from there is the start of the south rim drive. There are numerous overlooks and laces for short hikes. Great to see.

The South rim has more to see and some stops don't require too much walking. If you are only going to walk one, Spider Rock is the one to do. It is simply amazing. The energy that surrounds this spire is strong. Very spiritual.

Be sure to stop at every overlook as each has something to offer. Take your binoculars to scan the canyon walls for the ancient ruins. They are magnificent in location and construction.
