I really wasn't sure what to expect upon arrival. A pleasant gem to take a walk or a hike. If you are into photography this is a must. If you are interested in turtles, crabs, birds, and other wildlife this is well worth it.

This sanctuary offers a beautiful hike that goes thru varied terrain, including woods, meadows and marshland. There were knowledgeable birders volunteering along the boardwalk in the marsh to help you find and identify the shore birds you were seeing.

A friend suggested that we visit the Wildlife Sanctuary. We just had a little trouble finding it, but it was well worth it. The docents were helpful in suggesting various trails to explore. The museum had some nice displays about wildlife that we might see....More
