A good exploration of the island history. The film in the theater was very good and my daughter wanted to buy it. A good story of the 3 chiefs of the island. The Elizabeth II is moored off the shore and is a functioning replica...More

I'll bet this place shines and sparked when there's an event. Today there wasn't anything, so it was very laid back. I liked the waterfront entertainment area.

The park takes you back in time to the Lost Colony of Roanoke, when there were Native Americans living on Roanoke Island. They have a replica of one of the ships that brought the English colonists across the Atlantic, as well as a re-enactment village...More

My own grandchildren were convinced that the boat was a pirate ship. As they bought pirate toy guns in the museum shop that ratified it for them. It's a very interesting display -lots of history.

Nice day to visit. Walked over after ice cream stop. Lot of history. Right on the water. So cooler than in town.

this place could be so much better - we only saw 2 people dressed in costume - the boat was so cool - the "village" was lacking - the blacksmith was the best - the other guy was to busy chit chatting to pay attention...More

It was super hot the day we visited but there was plenty of shade to escape to. The villages were nice to explore but frustrating because some of the interactive displays were broken. The "characters" did a great job playing their parts. My boys especially...More

Oh yes! Lots of things to look at there. And there are places to sit along the way if you get tired. There are also a lot of exhibits which are interactive. Enjoy your day!

Almost everything is outside. It is fairly small, so you can probably still do everything.
