We drove over 100 miles from Torrey to Bryce Canyon. It had snowed the day before we drove this road. The road had been plowed (and I think it had also been salted) so we felt confident about driving despite the below-freezing temperatures. It is...More

Beautiful views around every turn in this road. Access to a lot of wonderful places to explore in the national forest & Grand Staircase Escalante NM. Can be a problem to drive on in bad weather.

We drove south from Capitol Reef following a light snow during the night. The gates were open and there was very little traffic which was local. If I had taken this drive while in college I probably would have changed majors and moved to Utah....More

We started from Torrey and we found this to be one of the most scenic drives in the country, starting with the crossing of a high alpine like pass then dropping into the scenic canyon country of Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. The road has sheer...More

Riding in Utah takes your breath away. It makes you say wow out loud at every turn. You can see to the horizon and there’s not another vehicle on the road. Don’t come here! It will spoil it! Lol

Definitely worth the ride if it's even remotely in the options of a way to get from point A to B.. Very diverse landscapes and scenery with options for pull offs of views or hikes, 4x4 or ATV options as well

I chose this road over a shorter route because the map showed it winding through Grand Staircase. I had no idea how scenic it would be. This is a fabulous drive with many opportunities to park and breathe it in. Lots of changes in topography,...More

Awesome road between Bryce and Cap Reef. Crazy pretty with some roads with too many bends and not guard rails but if you are not afraid of heights just great.
