Take the kids and the camera, Christmas card perfect. We spent about two hours there. Bring in your own snacks.

This is an interactive discovery center in Capitol Reef National Park. The kids can learn about the pioneer lifestyle, the geology, the animals, and even make their own plaster casts of their favorite animal footprints, all for free.

This is in a great setting for the kids to learn the nature and geology around the area. There was lots to do in the building including toys, crafts and hands on learning.
