We are only open early August to late November/early December each season. If you see hours listed here on TripAdvisor on dates outside this range, they are incorrect. Always check our website for the most up-to-date information. We are a Pick-your-own apple orchard offering family-fun activities including apple and cider tastings, hayrides and a nature walk through a "bamboo" forest. Our season typically runs from the first week of August to the last week of November or first week of December depending on weather and other factors.

Perched on the top of the mountain, Sky Top is a great place to come for fresh in-season apples & cider! You can purchase by the bag, )1/4 to full bushal amounts (or) you can grab a couple of bags & go out in the orchid to pick your own right on the trees.

My husband and I visited during peak leaf season and found this a wonderful orchard. It has many varieties of apples for picking or purchase. There is a store on site where we bought fresh Apple turnovers and honey. AND they were selling fresh, hot Apple cider donuts that were to die for! This is a very family oriented and... More

Friends brought us to sky top for our first apple picking experience. We had a nice time exploring the orchard and having hot cider. Don't forget to bring cash.

Hubby and I visited after seeing a sign pointing to the area.. The giant outdoor shelter was filled with all things "apple": cider, jams, jellies, souvenirs. and baskets for picking your own in the orchard. Picking the apples was the fun part: there are all kinds and the employees can explain the pros and cons of the different varieties... The... More

Award-winning Orchard on the top of a mountain. Great map available online showing where the many different types of apples grow on the mountain. Good info also available re time table for picking each type of apple. Love the fresh cider and warm donuts in addition to apples! Huge orchard. Hayride available. We look forward to next season!

A very fun place to visit, cling for dear life while hanging precariously from an apple tree branch (loads of fun I must admit) . They have Apple Cider doughnuts that are absolutely amazing. People of many nationalities were here which surprised me at 1st, but eventually I saw why as it is an amazing place.

My husband, my dog, and I went here back in early October on a Sunday morning and the lines were crazy. We wanted to try some of the food but the line was so long we ended up going to eat in Hendersonville. There were barely any apples left either so it seems it's best to go in September. The... More

We had a very enjoyable couple of hours here. The apple picking season has wound down so picking isn't great but the kids had fun with the hayride, the pre picked apples and pears were really good and the donuts were fantastic. Very pretty views and good kid play area.

Love this place! We go at least twice a year to pick apples and there have been occasions we drive the one hour for just the delicious cider and donuts. If you want an outdoor adventure with the family or a group, this is a great option. You get to experience nature with all five senses at an affordable price!... More
