About 9/11 Tribute Museum
The 9/11 Tribute Museum is a project of the September 11th Families’ Association which brings together those who want to learn about 9/11 with those who experienced it. The 9/11 Tribute Museum invites visitors to share personal stories of the 9/11 community — family members who lost loved ones, survivors, first responders and rescue workers, civilian volunteers, and community residents whose healing is a testament to the perseverance of the human spirit. We provide an understanding of the loss and impact of 9/11 while inspiring the power of resilience and recovery.

Just finished the guided tour with Kimberly and found it fantastic. The tour was detailed and extremely personal. All the guides have a connection to 9/11. We received a lot of information and the stories were emotional and interesting. The headsets you wear are fantastic...More

We arrived late for the tour so they changed us to the next one straight away. We didn’t get to look in the museum, but the tour itself was great. Dan was our guide and he told us of his own personal story of thee...More

Kimberly gave us a very thorough and personal tour through the area. We had done a survivor tour in 2008, and this one was very complementary to that experience, giving the perspective of the years passed and the construction that has occurred. We also appreciated...More

We originally booked a guided walking tour of the 9/11 area and entry to the National Museum. After reading reviews about the smaller memorial museum at 92 Greenwich Street, we changed our mind and booked a guided walking tour and a visit to their smaller...More

Probably the most emotional tour you can take. All the guides are directly involved with 9-11, our guide Ann lost her fireman husband on that fateful day. The tour was interesting and constantly pulling at the heart strings. You sensed the heartbreak and emotions Ann...More

Yes. I took a few. However, I did not take as many as I normally would because it is a solemn space and I wanted to be respectful. Absolutely no selfies, though. That would not be appropriate, in my opinion.

I would think not....the guides are all people who were there at 9-11 or had a family member directly involved with the tragic event. It is very sobering and I would not recommend anyone less than 10 years old to go there.
