This is a magnificent library with descriptions of its contents. It is peaceful and gracious. There are also art exhibitions. If you love books, this is worth seeing.

Impressive building inside and out. A bit pricey, but I thought it was worth it. I wouldn't have gone if I didn't happen to be staying in the area. I'm glad I did.

Amazing collection of illustrated and rare books. Marble pillars, dark wood, red velvet. I could stay here all day.

Great to see thhe art collections on display and to also have the opportunity to view JP Morgan's private library and study. It's mind-boggling the amount of money that must have been put into these rooms, not to mention his collections. Very worthwhile visiting.

I recommend a visit here. The home, study and Library take you back in time. The book collection is priceless. Worth a visit for book lovers and history buffs. I recommend doing the informative free tour. Enquire times before hand.

I live around the corner from the Morgan and so I'm there quite often, yet I never get tired of it. It is the former residence (mansion) of robber baron/obsessive collector JP Morgan and even if it didn't contain remarkable works of art, it would...More
