I stopped by the museum on a whim. The museum talks about the building's history and covers economics and market history in a fun way. Definitely would recommend!

You don't need to know anything about finance to find interesting facts and objects at this little gem right on Wall Street. If you come by the 2 or 3 subway, you may come through the Atrium at 60 Wall Street. This is that rare...More

Located close to Wall Street. Explains the financial system that built the country. Stocks, bonds, how banks work, etc. Lots of stories of famous industrialists. They even have a check signed by George Washington. Many fascinating artifacts.

Came here while walking around Wall Street. This museum is good and shows you lots of interesting things such as a gold monopoly set which has diamonds for the windows. Well worth a look around this museum if you are near by.

I walked by this Wall Street museum for 40 years before finally deciding to visit and I am glad I did. The exhibits are geared to be informative to those with only basic financial knowledge, not hedge fund managers, but I found the explanations helpful...More

Nice museum to visit while in Wall street. Visitors get a good explanation of Wall street and how the stock market works. The building itself is an old bank.

If you're on Wall St seeing the sights then this place is worth popping into and getting a good overview of the evolution of American finance. Hasn't been updated to take into account the 2008 financial crisis which is more than slightly disappointing.

I work in the finance industry so I was looking forward to visiting this. Unfortunately it didn't meet my expectations. The exhibits and information were presented in a very elementary manner. Almost as if it were designed for kids or people who knew next to...More

My wife and I took a stroll through this repository of currency exhibits and specimens last week mainly because it was free and we just happened to be there. The best I can say for it is that it was nicely air conditioned on a...More

Financial District
At the southernmost tip of Manhattan, the Financial
District is where New York City began as a center of
commerce. Today, the historic streets and beautiful
setting are complemented by museums, countless
skyscrapers, and the heart of the Financial District,
