My daughter and I had a great time touring and eating through Chelsea Market. Our guide was upbeat, knowledgeable, and fun to be with. He learned everybody's name instantly and made sure everyone felt they were receiving personal service. We tried a lot of new food; all of it was great. Last year I went on the same company's tour... I like to do food tours in the various cities that I travel to around the world as I find that they are a great way to see a city, learn a little about the culture and of course try the great food! This tour did just that, albeit you learn more about the Greenwich neighbourhood as opposed to the... More

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this tour. We recommend it as a birthday gift you'll always remember. Everything we devoured was fresh and delicious. Ted was a terrific guide-- very knowledgeable and with a real passion for the history of the Village. We'll be back to do another tour!

We were fortunate to have Darrell as our tour leader. He was fun, energetic and provided us with wonderful insight to the market and area. We loved the variety of food tastings and the tour around the neighborhood. Yea to Darrell!

My girlfriend and I chose the food tour in Greenwich village. We expected a hokey, touristy tour, but Mason delivered an INCREDIBLE experience that went above and beyond. Mason was VERY knowledgeable, engaging, personable, and FUNNY! I did not expect to receive the amount of information and food that we were given. I have done food tours in SF and... More

What a delicious tour! Our tour guide, Bert, was warm, personable, and knowledgeable. We learned both about the establishments we ate in and the neighborhoods. We ate many delicious items! The tour was very nicely paced, with a good balance of walking, sit down tastes, standing, and on the go tastes. It was a great afternoon.

This was our first time doing a tour with this company and it won't be the last. We got a fantastic overview of Chelsea Market, The Highline and The Meatpacking District in three hours. More than enough food (consider this lunch), and our tour guide Darryl was amazing. A boring tour guide and you tune out. Not with Darryl. Plenty... More

Staying in West Village

Neighbourhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
