This was a great food tour. My 4 friends and I went on the Heart of the Village tour in Greenwich Village. Our tour guide was Ted and he was a fantastic guide. We stopped at 7 places throughout the village. The food was incredible. I would totally do another tour with them again!

Such an awesome tour of NOLITA with Annie! She had some great stories to go along with all of the amazing treats along the way. Having lived in NYC for the past five years, I was able to discover new food and historical information on an equally enjoyable level with those who were visiting the city for the first time.... Our tour guide was Bert and he is absolutely amazing! He is very knowledgeable, interesting and funny. The tour was greatly organized and did not seem long at all. Recommend if you are planning to visit NY for a few days, nice highlight of the Chinatown's food, culture and history.

My husband and I went on the Chelsea/High line food tour with Kurt and enjoyed every minute of it. The food was wonderful, especially the grilled cheese sandwich and loved the gelato but Kurt was the best part of the tour. Full of knowledge and lots of fun facts. We would recommend this tour to anyone. And plan to visit... More

Our party of four, including an eight-year-old, thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Joanna. We ate well (come hungry!), laughed a lot, and enjoyed some great food history along the way. I thought the tour was really well planned out, and the order of each stop created a nice flow, including stops inside various places to warm up. We bumped into... More

This is a great way to explore Chelsea Market as well as Chelsea and the High Line. Our guide, Cindy, was fantastic. She was very knowledgable and made the tour a lot of fun. And the best part? Sampling food from a variety of food businesses in Chelsea Market. This tour was delicious, entertaining and fun!

Staying in West Village

Neighbourhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
