It was our 1st time taking a Pizza tour and Scott's in New York City is surely the place to start. Our guide was Scott himself who does know his Pizza! He helps you understand how it's made, the history of the New York Pizza, & so many interesting fun facts I couldn't have asked for more. It was a... More

I took the Brooklyn dinner tour last Saturday and was delighted to find that Scott himself was my guide. What that man doesn't know about pizza isn't worth knowing! I'm a major pizza fan but Scott takes things to another level. He tailors the tour to the requirements of the day's guests, so don't be backwards in coming forwards with... More

This tour was given to me as a gift. An absolutely fantastic time was had! Mike was a great guide. And the choice of pizza styles and locations...along with all of the history, science, and art of creating one of my favorite dishes...made for great fun and a compelling afternoon with my sons. Like the pizza itself, this tour does... More

Wow! Scott's Pizza Tours was fantastic. If you are a pizza fan, like our family, you will love learning the history behind NYC pizza from Scott. The tour is so much more than simply visiting a few great pizza joints. Scott shares with you the history of pizza making, the history of buildings and different types of pizza. Scott is... More

We did the Little Italy pizza tour - while it was a fun way to spend 3 hours (and our tour guide was very nice and enthusiastic), it was extremely expensive and in our view not worth the money. Perhaps we were stung by the exchange rate but we felt £40 for three slices of pizza and a tour was... More

Took the family on the tour of Little Italy and Greenwich Village today. Kids are ages 11 and 16 and we all four loved it. Scott was great fun and we learned about pizza, ate frat pizza and enjoyed the tour of the area. I would highly recommend the tur especially if you enjoy something other than the traditional touristy... More

Very fun and informative tour. Great fun and great pizza. Learned a lot about pizza and the process of making pizza. Our guide was great and made the tour enjoyable. We have done a lot of different food tours through out our travels and this one was good. We walked through many different and colorful neighborhoods. I was hoping to... More

Who knew that the history of pizza was so interesting? Our tour guide Alexis knows everything there is to know about pizza plus he's funny enough to be a stand-up comedian. Three stops with very different pizza at each place and all were good. Book this tour...you'll love it.

This tour was recommended by a NYC local, so we knew it had merit. As tourists, we definitely wanted to try some tasty pizza, but there's pizza on every corner in that city, so we didn't know where to start and how to know for sure if it was truly GREAT. We were SO FRICKIN' LUCKY because we got SCOTT... More

Staying in Nolita

Neighbourhood Profile
Nolita
Despite being just off of busy Houston Street, Nolita maintains a low-key vibe that makes it a pleasant retreat in the heart of lower Manhattan. Short for “North of Little Italy,” Nolita was once considered to be part of Little Italy. Today, the neighbourhood is popular with young fashionistas popping in and out of the chic independent boutiques that line Mulberry, Mott and Elizabeth Streets. In addition to shopping, there are cozy restaurants and sidewalk cafes serving everything from new-school Italian food to the world-famous cronuts. While small in size (Nolita stretches just a few blocks in each direction), it’s a great neighbourhood to spend an afternoon people watching, window-shopping, and grabbing a bite to eat.
