Great play to see, you will be laughing your butts off sooooooooo much. If you sit in a special seat in the orchestra, you may be pulled on stage to join in on the act, D101 I think......Does a great transformation from the Holy Grail movie to a stage production. What else would you expect from Monty Python but an... More

I'm giving this 2.5 stars. This should have been better. The actors, including Craig Robinson as King Arthur, Christian Slater as Sir Galahad, Warwick Davis as Patsy and Jesse Tyler Ferguson as Sir Robin, did a phenomenal job but were shortchanged by the script. The show opened late, and at least one scene was cut, but happily still contained the... More

We actually saw this in 2007, but it was a good combination of Monty Python and Broadway. The songs were catchy, and the scenes were classic. The films are better, of course, but the Broadway is great, too.

We opted for this one at the last minute as all other shows in the west end were sold out and tickets only 19 pound each. The seats were in the nosebleed section, but well worth the money. What a fantastic show. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it wasn't to be laughing hysterically the whole time! This... More

I'd give it more of a 3.5, but rounded it up. It felt very 'Python-lite', and nowhere near as good as the film (though it is in my top 10, so that would be difficult anyway). The songs were fairly catchy, but not overly memorable. The actors were all good and enthusiastic, although the guy playing King Arthur felt kind... More

Sorry there isn't a Spamalot London attraction page to put my review, but I took my German boyfriend to see this tonight and we both laughed the entire time. Funny, silly, well-cast, controversial and original Monty humour. And if you have enough spare time midweek you can get a great deal on tickets :) do it!

I saw the traveling show in Oklahoma. It was a good time. Spamalot is roughly based on the "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" movie, but there some departures and some other stuff that is either new or evokes other Python routines. There is a lot of singing and dancing, but it's all very silly. Thoroughly enjoyed it, would be... More

Hilarious musical. Buy the soundtrack before you go so you can sing along with the musicians. A very fun and exciting play.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
