My wife Rosey and I booked this tour amongst other things for our latest trip to New York as we had done all the touristy stuff on previous trips. We got to the meeting point early and had a coffee. Our host Mike introduced himself and shortly the tour commenced. If I can recommend one thing for a trip to... More

Liz has a great knowledge of the NYC food scene and history. I'd recommend this tour to anyone who wants to try tasty food, meet fun people, and learn about food... More

Lots of fun and most informative. Liz was a fantastic guide and made the tour even better with her amazing knowledge of the areas. I would highly recommend her tour to anyone considering this, but take it with her. We will be back.

If there is one town in the world, that should be called Foodie Heaven, it is NYC. We decided to dig deeper into the world of Italien and Chinese food by going on a food tour. Meeting our tour guide Liz, we immediately are in love. We do speak the same language: Foodie-ish. She is into food, you can tell... More

I live in New York, so I am usually the type to turn my nose up at guided city tours, but I am very glad I went on this. The tour was actually a lot of fun and I learned a lot about neighborhoods that I find myself in regularly. The food we ate was delicious, and Alana was able... More

Staying in Little Italy

Neighbourhood Profile
Little Italy
While Little Italy is one of the city's smallest neighbourhoods, its streets are packed with visitors from around the globe, especially on summer weekends when the streets are closed to traffic. Stroll up Mulberry Street, the heart of Little Italy, for a dense mix of Italian restaurants with sidewalk tables, cafes, and old-school food shops. Don’t be surprised when the hosts beckon you to pay them a visit. Stop in for a coffee and a cannoli, or grab a streetside table to take in the scenery over a hearty Italian meal.
