We attended the NYC Ballet production of the Nutcracker at Lincoln Center. The building is beautiful with a gold ceiling, lovely architecture, sympathetic and comfortable seating, a great place to see the Ballet. There are also a couple of restaurants in the complex and a bar in the atrium to ensure everyone is catered for. The Nutcracker was amazing, well... More

I was fortunate enough to experience the premiere of Balancine's Nutcracker. It is always a new experience and should be a traditional way to celebrate the holidays. They have ample snack bars that if you crave a bite or drink, it's a short wait.

We enjoyed hearing the orchestra play here. The acoustics were well designed, the interior decor was attractive and the seating was comfortable.

The theaters are impeccable. We enjoy the ABT in this setting. And, were delighted that the sandwiches available during intermission are high quality and reasonably priced. We will try lunch or dinner in their cafe the next time

The center has 30 indoor and outdoor performance facilities spread over 16 acres . A must see and most famous is the Metropolitan Opera House, the MET, with over 3700 seats, a lobby with two 30'x36' murals created by Marc Chagall, and a fabulous terrazzo cantilevered stairway with an array of eleven crystal chandeliers resembling constellations, moons and satellites. Then... More

We took the guided tour of the main buildings that make up the Lincoln centre. Our guide was very informative and had a real connection with the place, being a former opera singer. It was wonderful to get a mixture of history, facts and anecdotes about the three theatres and the tour was totally engaging. A big plus was hearing... More

The Tour of the Lincoln Center provides a great bird's-eye view of the complex. If lucky, you may even catch the NY Philharmonic rehearsing. Wendy, our tour guide was a storehouse of information.

We went to Rose Theater to enjoy the centennials of Ella Fitzgerald, Dizzie Gillespie, Mongo Santamaría and Thelonius Monk. Fantastic! Relaxing! Amazing! Perfect! What a wonderful night listening to the best music genre ever. The theater is very nice and the seats comfortable. We sat in the balcony level and it was good. The acoustic and view were great.
