    The Grand MET Experience
If you've been here, you know what to expect. My husband loves opera, so I took him to see Aida in early January. It was very good. A very grand performance. I like it also because they put the words in English on a small screen in the back of the seat in front of you. For me, the place is always dazzling with the lovely dresses, the lights, the grand staircase and a glass of champagne. I still want to go to the restaurant, The Grand Tier on the first floor. It has 4 $$$$ signs so you know it's expensive. But if you can afford it, it's probably an experience.

    Lincoln Center Music is Grand!
My husband choir was performing at Lincoln Center and the acoustics were fantastic. The renovation really worked and the sound is marvelous. The fountain outside is great for photos. My only complaint was the boxes were too small and only seat four people. When we came to Carnegie Hall the boxes were for 10+. We had lots of family and friends come to his concerts. We had good seats on Row K that are considered best for audio.

    Urban Design Statement
We came here to meet our friends for dinner, so we walked around a bit before and after. It is a statement in urban design, has not matured and is very inviting and lovely. The theaters have great reputations. We've been to one for a show and it was superb and impressive.

    Wow!!!
Enjoyed a night out at the Lincoln Center to see the Opera! The center has lots of space out front. I was confused why we all lined up and experienced a pinch point coming in side door. Perhaps two entrances would be beneficial. The chandeliers are worth a visit alone. I was so surprised to see the beautiful ceiling continues into the auditorium. Made a point of coming given the work to improve the acoustics! Money well spent. The opera singers were easy to hear even in the cheap seats!

Lincoln Center has devolved into a really low-class operation. Parking there is a nightmare as are most amenities. It is a shame because their resident organizations have great history. Shame they have to be a part of this clown-show organization.

A massive building which hosts many performances. We saw the NY Symphony Orchestra play here and the acoustics were as you’d expect, exceptional.
Beautiful building purposely built for such events.

Medical School Graduation! Beautiful facility. We enjoyed how easy it is to navigate the buildings. One of the most iconic and traditional buildings to come visit for a performance or an event.

After a long COVID delay we returned to NYC.
Camelot, directed by Bart Sher at the Vivian Beaumont is terrific. New book by Sorkin, full orchestra including strings AND music intact. More contemporary story.
There is not a bad seat in this house. We opted for Loge (upstairs) and still wonderful.
