Historical landmark, but it deserve a better view

It's an important historical landmark, but the place where it is located is not what it should be. Other buildings are overwhelming this landmark.

This is a site of great historical significance that unfortunately is overlooked by people looking at the New York Stock Exchange across the street. This is a great site where you can see where the first US Presidential oath of office was taken by President George Washington. The museum rooms are very good and filled with incredible history, including the... More

A place to visit and learn about early American government. Relatively quite and free. This building has been rebuilt and at one time New York City was the capitol of the United States of America.

This is a place of historic significance and a must-see while in the Wall Street area. Best of all, there are no admission fees. Although the building where George Washington took his oath as first US president no longer exists, the current building is still significant for its role in finance, once designated as US Customs House with underground vaults... As it's within yards of the New York Stock Exchange, Federal Hall is worth checking out when in the area. As the site of George Washington's inauguration it is commemorated with a bronze of Washington in front of the building that makes a great photo opportunity !

When there is a million huge towering building this was the exact opposite. It did feel like a big but in presence. You can't outdo history and the outside of the building is building. The stairs are a really common place for people to sit and watch others. The inside was never really crowded but very very beautiful. The bathrooms... More

We only stopped by here to oggle the outside view. What a gorgeous sight! The architecture on this building is really worth the stop. Located right across the street from the NY Stock Exchange building, the building is a massive, column-front edifice with all the workmanship of the structures built around the time that our country was still in its...
