Broadway has something for everyone. Day and night it is hiving with people, food carts, street vendors and probably never stops! Was there to see Aladdin and pick up something for the kids at the Disney shop. Be prepared to accommodate people coming from all directions! Most of the shops were decorated for Christmas it was good to just take... More

A must to witness in the evening once all the lights really pop out. There is a definite energy in walking these few blocks. A real mix of people, and a fun area to walk through. Multiple shows and restaurants within a short distance for a night out.

First time going to Broadway. Went the show On Your Feet! in the Marquis Theater. the atmosphere was electrifying, the show was over the top, and the actual theater was very nice. This show is a must to see in Broadway, excellent cast, great message, and good music.

Broadway is not just about the theaters. Most tourists coming to NYC will get to see just that part of Broadway...the most known and glorified. Over the years we too have seen our share of Broadway performances. In October we visited Columbia university and walked around on Broadway, several blocks down to the Cathedral Avenue, where we used to live... More

The excitement and foot traffic of Broadway is wonderful. As for shows there are SOOO many great ones to see. If you decide more spontaneously you can try buying tickets at TIX for an even better price. Need to get there early

With this being a street/road/avenue, call it what you will, it's always busy, but not so early mornings. The views are great wit a lot of things to do, and a must for a photo opportunity.

Broadway street runs from downtown to uptown Manhattan. The Street seems very busy throughout day & night. Many activities can be seen on either side of the road. Broadway-Wall Street hosts major Financial hub including NYSE and the world famous Bull representing the market. This street also hosts the Broadway theatre.

Went and saw "aladin" which was great. Not the same as the movie (I can't believe they left out the monkey) but still good. I would see the Phantom or wicked before aladin

Broadway has something for everyone. Day and night it is hivng with people and probably never stops! Be prepared to accommodate people coming from all directions! As most of the shops were decorated for Christmas it was good to just take it all in.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
