Like a small town within Manhattan, the Village has narrow tree-lined streets and brick townhouses.

What a cool collection of streets to roam , shops to explore, and all kinds of people to watch. Think about all the people who have lived here and what they have done to shape literature, theater, comedy n music. And really roam the streets,...More

I love Greenwich Village , the brown stone houses, the general safe feel of a close neighbourhood and you wouldn’t be awar it’s in New York City! So much to do and see, food to try, Just visit and wander and you will find !

We spent a lovely afternoon here, meandering round the streets, churches and small parks. It’s slow, relaxed and charming and sucks into to its laid back way, you can’t help but be charmed by it.

Greenwich Village is a special place! The independent shops and restaurants and bars, give a certain flavor to the distinctive area! There are more franchises than ever before, but, not at all like any other part of town. Be sure to take in the sites,...More

Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was
here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter
culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for
its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to
get a feel for this diverse and energetic
neighbourhood. You’ll find NYU students, street
performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the
fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess.
