Lovely to stroll around if you're done with crowds. Lots of ordinary New Yorkers taking time out, on a Sunday there is lots of activity (similar to speakers corner in Hyde Park)

Great place to go at dusk. Lots of performers out, musicians, painters, etc. Great for people watching and just enjoying the city. Plenty of spots to sit for a while.
We go to the village to visit friends and there is always a wonderful Italian restaurant to visit and have the most wonderful food this side of Italy.
Beautiful evening in the city, musicians everywhere including piano player, bongo drums, guitarists, etc... Artists , balloons, lots of merriment.
