A fantastic place for window shopping or actual shopping if you have the dollar, excellent place for a leisurely stroll, worth a look.

Skip Fifth Avenue. It’s too crowded and touristy. Head over to Madison Avenue and walk a long the high-end, luxury boutiques.

I don’t think this street has the best shopping in New York City, but there is a lot of great shopping here. Some of the more upscale places, and a lot of the younger generation places as well. It’s a lot of fun to stroll...More

Came specifically for the rimowa store, and also had a look-see along the street. Nothing interesting, mostly office buildings

next to 5th Av. there is a lot of shopling amd some restaurants available. Good area of NYC to hang around

enjoyed shopping on madison avenue Especially the Channel boutique on 64th street. Other nice boutiques that you can visit.
