Harlem is a great place. Just traveling the distance of 125th Street, there is so much business happening here. I would say, it's a clone of 34th Street. There is so much history here. Great restaurants too. Harlem is accessible by bus, subway, and Metro...More

Yes.. you need to walk through Harlem ( go on a walking tour) and learn about it's history. If only the streets could tell their stories. Visit a restaurant for authentic soul food and jazz singers.

This is a coincidence how I ended up in Harlem, but we did have a walk about and visited the Apollo theatre, an amazing place and so much change is happening , this is another up and coming place

I lived the full month of February to March 2017 in this wonderful neighbourhood of the New York I wanted to see! Loved every minute, will return, its been renovated-innovated and being upscale, but still some Old Harlem still to find and research and "Enjoy"..........More

According to rumours Harlem used to be a bit dangerous. I would say that people are very friendly always willing to help... no danger...

We had no problems at night and were often out very late. Only do what you are comfortable with.
