My husband set up a prenatal massage, manicure and pedicure for my birthday weekend. He called a couple weeks earlier and asked for the same day we would be checking into the hotel on Saturday April 1. He didn't receive any email confirmation about the date and time but didn't really feel it would be an issue. Lo and behold... More

I had a massage and a body scrub. There are Japanese influences throughout and start by taking your shoe when you check in. Each phase of the treatments are well thought out and I never felt rushed. I loved their signature smell so much I bought some oils to take home. Not for those on a budget unfortunately..

What an amazing morning full of relaxation and pampering. My services of the day included a 50 minute massage and a pedicure. The staff were welcoming and informative regarding the additional relaxation options available following your services.

We have enjoyed spa treatments at Mandarins in other cities and decided to try NYC, and we were not disappointed. A bit more pricey than other cities since it's New York but the same great service. The unisex waiting area is a bit odd - it seems better to have the therapists coming to the relaxation room for each gender.... More

3 hours or decadence in a private suite. We went two days after our wedding to relax. We were guests of the hotel. It was extra special. Note that we are Manhattanites.

Stay here every Christmas and regard it as the leading hotel in NYC. The spa is wonderful and you feel very pampered from the moment you arrive (and the prices reflect that). Perfect way to spoil yourself.

I have to start by saying that I have never stayed at Mandarin Oriental hotel, as the price point is a bit high for my budget. I was excited though, to treat myself to a spa appointment here, as I had heard great things about the Mandarin Oriental chain. I arrived to find a dark, quiet space with one person... More

Visited the spa with two friends and felt pampered from the moment we arrived. You can arrive well before the appointment time to fully enjoy the spa facilities. The relaxation room alone is spectacular with four loungers which adjust to your personal reclining preference and it hosts magnificent views of the city. Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
