We had a great time!

We saw Rachelle Ferrell at The Blue Note on 2.10.2017. She was excellent! I think this is a great venue if you prefer intimacy and engaging with the artist. Everything was... read more

Set amongst hustle and bustle, we got the taxi here. As soon as I got in, I knew it was going to be a brilliant night. We got a table and also opted to have a bite to eat. The food was sensational, to say that you're in and around music lovers, enjoying the music and ambience the food is... More

Right before we visited, I downplayed how great it would be when talking about the evening ahead with my daughter. I had read some reviews that talked about how the Blue Note packs people in and the food is not very good. Okay, so yes, they do pack people in and the food isn't the very best you will eat... More

What more can I say? A little cramped and service a little awkward, 3rd seated for the night and last to eat. But when you have those headliners ... who cares about the food.

We saw Rachelle Ferrell at The Blue Note on 2.10.2017. She was excellent! I think this is a great venue if you prefer intimacy and engaging with the artist. Everything was organized the moment we arrived. Our names were on the list appropriately for the reserved AMEX seating. We had a clear and close view of Ms. Ferrell. The quarters... More

This was my first time at the Blue Note and I'm sure to return and here's why. Many of my favorite Jazz and solo artist have performed here and I always said that I would see them perform. Finally, this week I got my chance to see the incomparable Rachelle Ferrell. The Blue Note is a rather small venue but... More

Visited here as part of my birthday surprise. Wow- what an amazing night of music. You are packed in like sardines- literally touching the people on the table next to you! Get there early to get a table you want or you'll be left with little choice! Not good if you're claustrophobic or need some space around you! We had... More

The place opens at 6:00 pm and I got there at 6:30 on a Saturday Night. I got a bar seat at the Blue Note and had the chance to enjoy a show with one of the best Drummers, Mr. Dennis Chambers. The environment of the place is wonderful. It was a cold Saturday night in January and I tasted... More

Great place for food and drink while you watch live jazz. The place is not that big so recommend you get there minimum of 1 hour early, preferrably more, as you don't have assigned seating. So if the act is good people go to claim their seat well before the show. The stage is elevated so you can see but... More

A typical little Jazz club On arrival the staff were super helpful as it was our first visit We was booked to Savion Glover, OMG what a show, just unbelievable performance by probably one of the best new age tap dancers. I've never felt so blown away by anyone and his amazing band. An hour and half set where he... More

Staying in Greenwich Village

Neighbourhood Profile
Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to get a feel for this diverse and energetic neighbourhood. You’ll find NYU students, street performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess. Stroll the streets to discover a mix of majestic town homes and hidden bars and restaurants that give this neighbourhood an old-school residential feel. When the sun goes down, check out one of the famous jazz or comedy clubs that still packs them in every night.
