You can't do a trip without seeing the big department stores, I felt similar items were more expensive compared to Macy's, also there was building work on the top floor and I found it hard to navigate around. The gents toilets were few and far between and had a bit of a wait to use them. It took me 35... More

Really wanted to visit here and I was disappointed. Too many departments only catering for those with a large bank balance. Continually followed around by staff. We decided to leave after about 30 minutes of trying to find items that suited our budget. Would be very reluctant to return.

I am not a shopper this store was overwhelming with sights and sounds so many staff jumping on you I found that so off putting. I am sure if you LOVE this sort of store you will have fun I got out asap as it's not my thing

Many wonderful brands of clothes, shoes, bags, jewelry. There are many expensive designer items but there are some good bargains as well. If you are a tourist - visit the Visitors Center on the 1st floor and get a one-day discount card. Enjoy!

Great experience. Lots to look at and got some great bargains and every single member of staff said "hello" to us. When we asked for help they couldn't do enough for us.

This was my first visit to Bloomingdale's and it won't be the last! The shop was spotless and the staff were so friendly and very eager to advise you on where things were located. There was some great bargains the day we went.

The visitor centre will give you a discount card once you register, photo ID was asked for, we never had this but a credit card was accepted. We were lucky that for the week of 10th April it's a massive 25% off. This was not accepted for high end items

Worth a quick selfie outside for remembering the friends programs but expensive inside so literally left swiftly.

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighbourhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighbourhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighbourhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
