Didn't expect to enjoy this but it was really good fun!!!

We would normally never visit the waxworks but as this was on our New York pass we thought we'd take a look!! First off, we were taken up to the top floor to start us off. This... read more

The whole experience at Madame Tussauds was great, I didn't expect it to be as great as it was, there were so many different wax figures that were so life like! We got to go through the range of figures and experience the ghost busters section (Rayvon is amazing - if you get a chance to go through you'll know... More

My boyfriend and I traveled to the city and wanted to do something different than what we normally do so we went here. It is super affordable and is an awesome self-guided tour. Luckily for us, there wasn't many people there at the time we went so it was that much more enjoyable. The wax figures truly look real -... More

I had seen a YouTuber of mine a year or so previous to us going (we went in August of 2016) get a wax figure installed there (JennaMarbles) so when me and my family went on a vacation there, I really wanted to go. Tickets were not too badly priced considering all the different set ups and celebrities they had,... More

Had this as part of our NY pass Half the wax models were missing, we kept seeing the names for people but not their wax models Most of the wax models did not look like their real life versions. Im no expert but im pretty sure the point is that i should look at the model and think they are... More

It was a bit restrictive and boring, you're made to go through the gift shop at the end and you have to "upgrade" your ticket to see other wax works like the marvel super heroes. Shockingly as it's America, they've got a whole room dedicated to politics, which bizarrely has the duke and duchess of Cambridge in the same room,... More

I was here in November as my girlfriend wanted to pay a visit and see if there were any updates. Just give this place a miss. MT's attractions have become boring over the years and it seems like tourists are the only beneficiaries of its waxworks.

Are they Wax or Real Life? That is the question you will be asking of these wax models of famous people. Everything for Michael Jackson to the Royal Family. Katy Perry to One Direction Band Members. You can get close enough to take pictures with these wax statues. Fun place to visit in NYC

It opened at 10 am we had seen it all by 10.45 , very dated most of the 'celebrities' we didn't recognise and many if them where not very current. We had bought a New York pass and Madame Tussauds was included in the price of the pass so glad we didn't pay the addmission price as I would have... More

We would normally never visit the waxworks but as this was on our New York pass we thought we'd take a look!! First off, we were taken up to the top floor to start us off. This was probably my least favourite floor as it's just a large room with random waxworks in there!! Felt like there was too much... More

All of the statues look just like the stars on TV. We parked in New Jersey at the Port Imperial port and took the ferry to pier 79 then took the free bus to 42nd street or as its called Times Square. We found it very easy to get around, we took the elevator up to the top floor and... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
