I love Eileen Fisher's clothing - they come in all sizes and shapes (women, petite, plus size) in beautiful colors and designs. Over the years, I was lucky to find some there some gorgeous accessories (necklaces and scarves) that I can not part with. The only drawback is their expensive prices. Tip: If you are visiting from outside the US... More

Eileen Fisher's store in Soho is beautiful. The clothes are beautiful too-the colors, the fabrics, the designs. The staff is helpful and pleasant. There is comfortable seating for the male members in your party to rest while you shop.

For the last couple of years, my wife (of 27 years) was having major physical and mental problems. She loved Eileen Fisher and purchased 10's of thousands of dollars of clothing from them over this time period. Most of it without my knowledge and no, we could not afford that. Earlier this year, my wife took her own life which... More

Let's face it, I am a big Eileen Fisher fan. Without her clothes my closet would be bare (write your own joke here). I have been to six of the stores in New York, and regularly shop in three of them. Soho on West Broadway has the best selection--they carry all three sizes--"women's," regular, and petit. Upper Madison in the... More

Staying in SoHo

Neighbourhood Profile
SoHo
Once the artistic hub of New York City, SoHo (South of Houston) is now one of the premiere shopping destinations in the world. Housing everything from the most popular luxury brands to swank boutiques you won’t find anywhere else, this is a sophisticated shopper’s dream come true. Broadway teems with big-name stores and people during the day, while Prince and Spring Streets are the other main drags to explore by foot. Take a detour down the quieter side streets to see the real star of the district –majestic cast-iron architecture everywhere you look. What were once warehouses and art studios are now meticulously restored loft buildings favored by many of New York’s celebrities, making SoHo one of the trendiest addresses in the city. The pretty streets of Nolita (North of Little Italy) offer a more sedate vibe, with plenty of tiny boutiques and hip restaurants to seek out.
